Here is the Santa picture. i was also going to upload all of the pictures from our trip to the philly zoo the day after thanksgiving, but asia decided she doesnt need to take naps anymore. so i didnt have much time. hopefully tomorrow she is singing a different tune.

i like the roof with the sweettarts on it. anya did the little trees with "stars" on them on the back of the house. and she did the stone facade.


Anya had to "dress up" her turkey for school. so, we made her a dress. =)

Happy Thanksgiving

We had a wonderful thanksgiving in our new house. It consisted of:

turkey
smoked chicken (brined and smoked with hickory wood)
stuffing
corn bread stuffing
mashed potatoes
gravy
sweet potatoes
green bean casserole
corn
macaroni and cheese
rolls

and the most important part, dessert:

pumpkin pie
pumpkin pie with nuts
two crust apple pie
apple pie with walnut struesel
pecan pie

in the words of Racheal Ray it was "YUM-O"

we got our keys!!

We got the keys to our new house yesterday. the address is 6027 hazelnut dr. dover, de, 19901.

i am going to start moving carloads of stuff over every day and on sunday we are getting a uhaul to move everything thats left over. fun fun! i will post pictures soon.

tomorrow we are getting the FiOS hooked up for phone, internet and HD TV. very exciting. it is supposed to take the guy around 5 hours to get it all set up. geez. anyway.

our new move date- Nov. 16

the nice representative from pinnicale called friday afternoon and said that we could pick up our keys the following friday. i said great! then she called back 30 minutes later to tell me that we can get our keys early friday morning because we need to be out of this house the following monday. so much for a relaxed move over a 7 day period. my mom is flying out to help and i think if we load the truck sunday, i can find more people to help. i will send picture as soon as i can. later.
