cross your fingers

its been a while, so here is the update

Asia first... asia learned to cross her fingers, only on her left hand. she is quite proud of herself and every time she happens to do it, she must point it out to us. she is working on hopping. she can almost get both feet off of the ground at the same time. she enjoys playing hopscotch with anya.

Anya graduated from preschool yesterday. i was unaware that it was graduation day so i forgot the camera. thankfully another mother took some pics of anya. i will try to get those up this weekend. Anya is planning a sleep over this weekend. so far they have the following activities planned: watching the Barbie fairy movie, painting nails, doing hair, putting on makeup, wearing fancy dresses and eating pizza. i dont think i can handle all of the excitment. =)

I have been trying to keep up the running lately, but everytime i do, my legs hurt. and its not just the soreness from running but pains in my shins and inside of my legs. mike suggested new shoes and hopefully that helps because we are going to chestertown, md for a 5K on saturday. there is also a parade and street vendors. it is the Chestertown Tea Party. Mike is going for the crab cakes and blueberry crumble cake we got last year. I tried some new ideas for mike's potluck today. i make stained glass star cookies and mini dumpling sized pasties. both took alot of work. i liked how the pasties turned out, but the stars werent as good as i would have liked.
