asia's new swimsuit

we had to get asia a new swimsuit, thank goodness target is way ahead of the season. mom suggested that they have their swimsuits out for winter vacationers. anyway, here is a video of her "jumping into the pool" and counting to 5.

Wednesday was an eventful day with Asia. after we took anya to school asia said she wanted to take a shower with me so i was getting stuff ready in the bathroom when asia came in a said she needed help taking her shirt off. actually the reason was that she had tried to cut a dirty spot out of the shirt with scissors. oops. when i told her i had to throw it away she was very upset, so instead i patched it up.



an hour later, we were at playing and she wanted to call me on the phone. so i dialed my number and went into the laundry room. she didnt actually talk to me and pushed some other buttons. i told her to hang up the phone and we went around doing other stuff. moments later the phone rang and asia reluctently gave me the phone. imagine my surprise when it was the delaware state police asking if we were ok because someone just called 911. i said no, i was just my daughter playing with the phone. the guy asked how old she was and i told him 2. that was the end of it. i dont think we are going to be reading them that 911 book anymore.

needless to say i wasnt quite up for cooking dinner that night, we went out for chinese buffet instead. =)

girls can do whatever boys can

or so they say....

we went to the philly zoo yesterday. it takes about 1.5 hours to get there. asia said she didnt have to go to the bathroom before we left and me, being the sucker i am, believed her. we made it 5 miles up the road before she said she had to go potty. she informed us that it was just pee, so we pulled off on an exit ramp and i held her up to pee. but guess what, no pee, thats what. just a big poop came out. anya thought it was quite the laugh, mike too. anyway, if you are ever driving on the scarbourough road exit for dover, asia left a little something there.

so, does this mean the girls cant stop on the side of the road, or just young children?

here is a pic from when aunt chris and uncle howard came down for christmas. i have to mention that aunt chris and i beat mike and howard two times at cranium. it was alot of fun to see howard trying to get mike to guess "parachute" as a charade =)

these two pics are from anya and reagan's sleepover. they didnt go to bed until 2 am. and she tried telling me she wasnt tired the next day. ha, she took a nap that afternoon. they thought the popcorn was really cool, but i think air pop still tastes alot better. mmmm, butter =)

i am sorry to say that i havent gotten around to getting pictures uploaded yet. i was going to do it now, but the battery is dead. i was out on a walk and took pictures of our old neighborhood. it is a sad sight. the trees are all gone and most of the houses are rubble. our house is still standing. you can tell it is our house because the yellow slide is there in a rubble heap behind it. so sad =(

anya's first loose tooth is getting looser. it is starting to lay forward in her mouth. she is very excited about loosing her first tooth.
