i dont dress my children

yesterday anya picked out clothes to wear out to play. she came down with a bluish paisley turtleneck, pink and green camo pants (they are kinda short) and orange, yellow, and black striped halloween socks. i think you can imagine how bad it looked. i do believe they get their horrible fashion sense from me. oh well.

also, my amarylis is fully bloomed, it is quite surprising how fast it grew.

my flower is going to bloom

The amarylis stopped growing taller, but it is growing a flower now. =) We arent getting much sun this week, but i hope it still blooms by sunday.



These are the souvenirs the anya and asia got. Anya picked out the puppy in a purse and asia picked out the yellow bear. well, they were coached on what to get, we were tired of spending too much money so they got little gifts. they were selling "I 'heart' NY shirts 3 for $10 but anya didnt want one. =( so i got just one for me.

i have been accused of.....

.....not posting any pictures in a long time. well, i guess you are right.

while looking through our pictures i found this cute one of when grandma was visiting and she got asia a leopard sweatshirt. mike drew kitty faces on them and here they are pretending to be cats. personally, i think anya looks like she has devil horns, but she was happy.


this next one is a picture of the amarylis that mom got me for christmas. i wasnt sure if it would grow or not because the bulb isnt covered with dirt and the dirt the is there is molding a bit. but one day it started and it grow nearly 2 inches a day. the package was right about it growing toward sun. we have to keep turning it so it grows straight.


Asia was trying to be a walrus with carrots, but she went a little overboard and stuffed too many in her mouth. it was cute. she doesnt usually like me taking pictures of her, but she did this time.
