the ride to the beach
saturday, mike and i rode out bikes down to rehoboth beach. we only actually rode to the outlet mall, i didnt want to get into the water. mike approximated it to be between 55-60 miles. we finished in about 4 hours. i was dehydrated and felt like puking by the time we finished, so i wasnt really hungry for dinner like everyone else. Aunt Chris and Uncle Howard watched the girls for us and drove down to meet us for dinner and take us home. i figured that just riding down was enough of an accomplishment for me. Mike rode down and back with a friend of his last year. although, mike said it is alot harder to ride that far on a mountain bike. he let me ride his road bike. =)
